WOW. The last three days have been a whirlwind of fun and I am strangely excited for what is yet to come. I've got lots to look forward to Miley Cyrus concert, two three day weekends in a row, my birthday, Childish Gambino concert, Schoolboy Q concert, etc. I spent Friday drinking (strange) juice with Liesl and planning for our Sadie Hawkins dance. The following day was the dance and sadly I have no photos, but we brought a disposable camera along, cannot wait to see how the film turns out. The dance and all the events following were insane and I had a great time. Exactly what I needed. Now Sunday rolled around and after yesterdays' events I decided today would be the perfect day to rest.

Had this on Saturday, another on Sunday. Truly addicted to breakfast burritos.

Afterwards, my mother and I headed to LF for the 60% off sale, only picked up a pair of dark wash jeans, but I love love love them.

Also walked down to CVS and bought NYLON mag with my favorite Vanessa Hudgens as the cover star. I purchased a simple black striped planner to get my life organized and picked up some developed film.

This weekend I also realized I am subconsciously Blue Ivy Carter, seriously can't stop listening to Glory - Jay-Z ft. Blue Ivy Carter and Blue - Beyonce ft. Blue Ivy Carter

lunch + items

This week we get out early at 12:30 everyday due to finals, so my dear friend Jamie and I took advantage and biked to Manhattan! We went to Lemonade for lunch, and I honestly believe it's impossible for me to leave this restaurant without white truffle macaroni & cheese. The blueberry mint lemonade is also delicious.

Stopped at American Apparel, one of my favorite stores, if only the prices weren't so insane. We also went to LF, Lulu's, and Free People.

Bought a beautiful white mesh bralette and a coffee drink from Pressed (I'm a sucker for juices and can easily justify buying a $6 drink)

Also stopped by Goodwill and picked up this skirt, a bit big but can always be pinned. Too early to think of Halloween?

I've got 9 months to find a blazer! 

My friend Justin also gave me a Lush assortment for Christmas! Such a lovely gift, I rarely buy myself Lush products, but I love love love them. Anyways, if the rest of finals week is half as nice as today I will be extremely content.

Sundays

Extremely proud of myself, yesterday I got loads of work done and now can sit and relax.

After a beautiful jog at the beach, I went to my favorite coffee shop, Coffee Cartel where I read and studied for a few hours.

On the way home saw a cute neon flamingo and as an neon light enthusiast I had to take a picture. 

Anyways, today I've babysat (made $60 woooo) and completed a couple projects. After I clean my room, studying for finals will finally begin 😶🔫

January 13th

Today was a strangely nice day, started off in a terrible mood begging my mother to let me stay home; which is clearly reflected in my outfit choice

   

Top- Brandy Melville Flannel- Thrifted Leggings- Lululemon also I threw on some old once black, now more of a faded green converse before grumbling out of the car

Luckily we had an early out and I was back in my bed at 12:30 left to think about life n stuff. I was thinking for awhile about body image, fashion, and food. Strange but those topics are always on my mind, anyways I wrote a few new years resolutions during my pondering

FIRST AND FOR MOST

-be more cautious of what food i put on my body and the products i am using

-stop being so lazy. need to wash my face before bed, wear my rubber bands for my braces, moisturize, DRINK MORE WATER etc.

BODY IMAGE

-EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE. I am constantly nip picking and getting worked up over silly things like my weight, when really i just need to become more healthy

-drink water

-once again eat well, get more protein, and expand my normal eating habits

-also in the category of body image i will get into fashion and art later

FASHION

-read more blogs/blog more

-try new things, get out of my comfort zone

-save money for designer pieces i will cherish rather than waste it on things i'll wear once (of course this resolution is allowed to be broke under circumstances of cheap, but cute finds @ forever 21, eBay, etc)

-loan/borrow more from friends

ART

-be more creative in everything i do and wear

-create more art

-get into the art of yoga

-REEEEEAAAAADDDDDDD 

-expand my music taste and attend as many concerts are physically and financially possible

Anyway, sorry for the bit of a rant. Looking forward to the new year, and starting off on a positive note (even though it is already the 13th) feeling extremely motivated, worked out for an hour today, ate a delicious salad, even have a face and hair mask currently on! Listening to The Moon Song by Karen O with the fan blasting, looking forward to 2014

san francisco

Recently I flew up to San Francisco to meet up with my friend Clare. 

I spent New Years there, so we dressed up and took some photos on our hotels fire escape (woke up the next morning to a notice saying we would be kicked out of the hotel if we climbed there again) (((whoops)))

And here's one on the streets 

During the trip we also went to a Sharks game and made it on the big screen!

highly HIGHLY recommend Sweet Woodruff Café; the people there are so kind and the food/decor is adorable 

Clare and I ended up there 3 days in a row and the exit sign was always nice to see

Anyways, during the trip I took quite a few Polaroid photos and bought a couple new things

Also purchased this collared crop top from Wasteland, not exactly sure why I was so attracted to it.

I've acquired a lot of lovely bras lately, this being one of my favorites
